the first Lamerica NYE celebration in over 4 years, the time is right now for us to do it all over again as we join forces with cardiff’s premier venue Sodabar to present the ultimate NYE celebration and our very own masquerade ball (don’t forget you must have a mask!!), a night to remember with a free champagne reception and free party poppers at midnight!

founding the Crazy P Movement in 1996, Jim Baron and Chris Todd hooked up with Danielle Moore (socialite/vocalist) DJing at an after hours house party in Manchuria. Since then the extended live outfit, (whilst other concerns are the 5 piece live band, production and remix team), have taken their love of disco, house and dancefloor grooves on the road and present entertainment on the decks complimented by live vocals from Ms Moore.

As a result second-hand copies of their earliest releases command small fortunes amongst vinyl obsessive’s and major label A&R execs have requested they sprinkle their deep, dubby disco magic on chart topping artists including Dido and The Scissor Sisters, they oversee four record labels; -U-star, Noid, discfunction and cottage – that alongside their own productions and countless mix CD’s – the most recent Night Dubbin, Dmitri from Paris selects two discs worth of essential ‘80s disco dub mixes, The Idjut boys transform them into a disc-long meltdown. So we are very honoured to welcome the duo for their very first appearance in Wales
